Since 1951 Maria is the kitchen landlady of the famous, homonym, restaurant continuing the tradition started with the old "Trattoria del Cacciatore".
The restaurant developped his reputation on genuine typical food, on rural hospitality and clients feels as part of a family, welcome friends.
Place being frequented by famous personalities, whose transit  is remarkable hanging on the walls of the dining rooms.

"Maccheroni al torchio con sugo di piccione" (Pigeon meat ragù sauce pasta) has historic roots in the past: on 1500 Duca Alfonso I d'Este and Ludovico Ariosto, coming back from Rome, made a stopover in Acquaria where they tasted the delicious pasta.
The old hand press is still on view in one of the dining room (it is a piece dated back at '700 even if for some bronze ornaments it could be dated '600!).
Today the menù list is particularly rich.
A part the "Maccheroni al torchio con sugo di piccione" we have to mention also the other pasta entrée (Cannelloni, Rice, Noodles and various pasta), the entrée (roast and various meat), the side orders (raw and cooked vegetables, always rich, in great quantity), the mushrooms (Porcini, Spugnole, Prugnoli) and, real flagship, the desserts.
